Theresa H. Wiederholt, 77, of Winsted

Theresa Wiederholt

Theresa “Terri” Helen Wiederholt, 77, of Winsted, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Oct. 27, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted with the Revs. Joseph Mary and Paul Schumacher officiating. Alice Nowak was the organist.
Casket bearers were Justin Hertzog, Michael Hertzog, David Hertzog, Luke Hertzog, Jacob Hertzog and Brett Hertzog.
Theresa Wiederholt was born April 8, 1940, in Silver Lake, the daughter of Roman and Victoria (Witucki) Evinski. She was raised by her uncle and aunt, Leo and Alice Evinski. She graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1958.
On June 6, 1959, Terri Evinski was joined in marriage to Reginald Hertzog. God blessed their marriage with 10 children. Mr. Evinski preceded his wife in death in 1986.
On April 1, 1990, Terri Hertzog was united in holy marriage to Mark Wiederholt.
Mrs. Wiederholt was employed as a dietary cook at St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted for the past 39 years. She enjoyed walking, garage sales, thrift store shopping, baking and camping. She also was an avid reader and often took community education bus trips. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Wiederholt; children, Dean (Lana) Hertzog, Kelli (Gary) Scherping, Lee (Wendy) Hertzog, Scott (Maria) Hertzog, Randy (Erica) Hertzog, Traci (Greg) DiLeo, Barry Hertzog, Neil (Jamie) Hertzog, the Rev. Joseph Mary and Cory (Stacey) Hertzog; stepchildren, Carol (Jim) Mickolichek, Amy (Richard) Carlson and Alan (Lyn) Wiederholt; 23 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; uncle and aunt who raised her; a brother and a sister; a stepson, Ronald “RJ” Wiederholt; and stepdaughter, Kimberly Wiederholt.
