Wagons a tribute to man’s family, his children

The orderly manner in which they are aligned is a sign the three-dozen or so wagons in the front yard of the Weber family’s yard at the corner of Morningside Drive and East First Street is not a case of blight or of children’s’ toys left astray.
The wagons are a tribute, homage to a man’s life and his commitment to his family.
To the passerby, the wagons are a conspicuous site. Their position among a neatly-manicured lawn seemingly never changes. The yard with the wagons precisely lined up is a landmark for people heading to the country club or to a nearby restaurant, said Rita Weber, LeRoy’s daughter-in-law.
The wagons are a remembrance of LeRoy’s commitment to his children, the yard a place family members may go to remember their father, grandfather, uncle, mentor and friend, LeRoy Weber. He passed away Feb. 13, 2017 after a fighting chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) since 2012.
