The 30th anniversary of the Rev. Anthony Stubeda’s ordination to the priesthood was celebrated June 1 with a Mass of Thanksgiving conducted by the Bishop John M. LeVoir at the Church of the Holy Family in Silver Lake. Around 300 family, friends and parishioners attended the event. A reception took place following the service.
Stubeda was ordained a priest for the Diocese of New Ulm on June 1, 1985.
He currently serves as pastor of the parishes in the St. John Paul II Area Faith Community, which includes Holy Family, the Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, and the Church of the Holy Trinity in Winsted. He also oversees the administration of two schools — St. Pius X kindergarten through sixth grade; and Holy Trinity pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. In addition, he serves on the diocese’s Committee on Parishes.
