A three-game winning streak to conclude the regular season gave the Glencoe-Silver Lake girls’ basketball team a 15-11 overall record as the Panthers embarked on their playoff push this week.
The Panthers polished off Wright County Conference West opponents Mound Westonka and Rockford by respective scores of 68-45 and 80-47 last week to finish up the circuit with an 8-6 mark, good for a third-place conference tie with Litchfield.
Watertown-Mayer won the WCC West this season with a 13-1 conference record, one game better than 12-2 New London-Spicer.
As for GSL, the regular season closed on the road after winning its home finale vs. Annandale on Feb. 17.
