William Dammann, son of Dave and Karen Dammann of Glencoe and Kathy Dammann of Annandale, received the Donald R. Zander Alumni Award for Student Leadership from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. The scholarship is for $2,000. William Dammann studied human resources and industrial relations at the Carlson School of Management, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May. He is working as a compensation analyst at U.S. Bank. While at the university, he served on the executive board for the Minnesota Student Association, the undergraduate student government, and a national board for Big Ten students. During the 2016 elections, he organized a voter registration campaign across all 14 Big Ten schools and also registered more students at the University of Minnesota than any other college campus in the nation. He is a 2013 graduate of Annandale High School.
