Eighteen student-athletes from Glencoe-Silver Lake High School earned either All-Wright County Conference West All-Conference or All-Conference Honorable Mention honors for their efforts during the fall season.
Eight Panthers were named All-Conference, while 10 more were named Honorable Mention.
From the GSL girls’ soccer team, midfielder/goalkeeper Zoe Christensen was named to the All-WCC West team. Midfielders Paige Litzau and Carlee Oberlin were both named Honorable Mention.
From the four-time defending conference champion GSL volleyball volleyball squad, middle hitter Rhyan Herrmann joined outside hitters Kasidy Cacka and McKenna Monahan on the all-WCC team. Middle hitter Mickalyn Frahm and setter Lexi Hansch claimed spots on the Honorable Mention squad.
The WCC West champion GSL boys’ cross-country team netted three All-Conference honorees in Tony Fischer, Jakob Rusten and Connor Holloway; three more claimed Honorable Mention slots in Oscar Pena, AJ Anderson-Sanchez and Paul Sievert.
GSL girls’ cross-country had one All-Conference runner in Maddie Lemke, as well as three more Honorable Mention members in Malayh Metcalf, Megan Siewert and Ellie Schmidt.
