Two years after completing prison time for not properly reporting as a predatory sex offender, a Stewart man is again guilty of not meeting the reporting regulations set by the court.
Terry Alan Manderscheid, 37, pleaded guilty in McLeod County District Court Nov. 9 to not reporting to police his new address and other information as required.
District Court Judge Jessica Maher sentenced Manderscheid to 45 days in the county jail and three years of probation running through Nov. 9, 2021. During his probation, Manderscheid must cooperate with any searches of his person, residence, vehicle, workplace and things as directed.
The criminal charge against Manderscheid stated he did not notify law enforcement of the change in his address as required since he was deemed a predatory offender following a conviction for third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a child in 2000.
