Woman, two men killed in two-vehicle crash Monday

Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash near northeast of Stewart Monday night.
The crash occurred just before 11 p.m. near the intersection of McLeod County Road 7 and York Avenue. Wayne Bernier Jr., 32, of Gaylord was traveling westbound on County Road 7 in a 2004 Ford Explorer with a passenger, Tiffany Dralle, 25, of Gibbon. Bruce Lentz, 60, of Stewart was heading eastbound in a 2010 Dodge Nitro when the two vehicles collided.
All three people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Dralle was not wearing seat belts and was ejected from the Explorer. Bernier and Lentz were both wearing seat belts.
There were no witnesses to the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol, Stewart Fire Department and the Buffalo Lake Ambulance responded to the crash site.
The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. The Minnesota State Patrol reconstructed the crash.
