Gary Cklair Hasse, 63, of Green Isle, formerly of Mound, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, in rural Lester Prairie.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Gary Cklair Hasse was born June 7, 1955, in Waconia. He was the son of Cklair and Verna (Brandenburg) Hasse. Gary was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Our Lady Of The Lake Church in Mound. He received his education in Mound and was a graduate of the Mound High School Class of 1973.
Gary was united in marriage to Wendy Stieve Oct. 31, 2007, in Gaylord. He resided in Mound, other various places and in 2008, Gary and Wendy moved to Green Isle. Mr. Hasse was a man of all trades. He loved carpentry, logging, and working with any kind of wood. Mr. Hasse also loved being in the outdoors and spending time with his dogs.
Mr. Hasse passed away Dec. 25, in rural Lester Prairie, at the age of 63 years.
He died doing what he loved – logging. Blessed be his memory.
Gary is survived by his wife, Wendy Hasse of Glencoe; children, Justin Hasse of Willmar, Wade Hasse of Elk River, and Cassandria Hasse of Truman; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Mackailee Rahm; Sebastian Hasse, Dominic Hasse, Damien Hasse, Gage Hasse; father, Cklair Hasse of Glencoe; sisters, Judy Hasse of Bloomington, Kristen Hasse-Linquist of Watertown; brother, William (Pamela) Hasse of Hutchinson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Hasse was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Hasse in 2006.
