School’s principal a man of strong principles

Dean Scheele, principal at First Evangelical Lutheran School, prepared to spend Friday night into Saturday morning sleeping in a hollowed-out snow pile in the school’s parking lot. Scheele spent the night outside to make good on a promise he made to students. They raised over $10,000 in pledges for the school during last fall’s Marathon for Non-Public Education.
