Walking through the county fair while looking at the projects, waiting in line and taking in the sights and smells of the animals has become a tradition for many people.
That’s changing this year, however, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Everyone gets that feeling at the fair right?” 18-year-old and 4-H federation president Grace Garoutte of Glencoe asked. “That’s what show people live for…. I get goose bumps just thinking about it. I think people are going to miss that part.”
