With nothing to lose, the Plato Blue Jays are taking an upbeat view of their playoff seeding this week. As the No. 14 seed, they’re taking on No. 3-seed Watertown.
The Blue Jays entered Crow River Valley playoffs having won their first, and only, win of the season, an upset over Green Isle Sunday, July 26.
The Blue Jays opened the playoffs last night in Watertown. They’ll face the Red Devils tomorrow night, July 30, 7:30 p.m., at Vollmer Field in Glencoe. If necessary, a decisive third game will be played Sunday, 2 p.m., in Watertown.
