Brownton has been buzzing with construction for the past few months, and things don’t appear to be slowing down.
At its Nov. 4 meeting, the Brownton City Council gave updates on the Dollar General construction, and the council accepted payment of three contract applications for other projects in town.
Dollar General has been part of a dual project the city’s been talking about for several years, and the city just finished one of them. Brownton’s Public Works Department completed the city’s underground electrical loop and extended it over to the Dollar General site so it can hook up to it too.
